Ghost Hunting Tools

These are some of the instruments and detection devices that will be used on our ghost hunts.

FLIR TG165 Spot Thermal Camera

The FLIR TG165 Spot Thermal Camera bridges the gap between single spot infrared thermometers and FLIR’s legendary thermal cameras. Equipped with FLIR’s exclusive Lepton micro thermal sensor, the TG165 lets you see the heat so you know where to reliably measure it. Easily find unseen hot and cold spots for instant troubleshooting, and store images and data to show customers and include in reports.

EMF Detector

With this portable lightweight EMF detector you can simply hold the detector near the device you want to check in order to determine if any electromagnetic waves are resonating from it.

The Ghost Meter

The Ghost Meter has been calibrated to ignore the extremely subtle EMF emissions surrounding the human body, yet is still sensitive enough to detect the small, distinct, erratic EMF energy fluctuations frequently found at reputed haunted locations. The Ghost Meter provides three corroborating indicators of EMF emission strength. A needle based display, LED lights, and an adjustable audio signal. The response time of this meter is excellent, easily outperforming more expensive EMF meters. It can also be operated in silent mode so it doesn't interfere with EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recordings or distract other investigators during an investigation.

Spirit Box P-SB7

The P-SB7 has given ample proof that it can instantly transmit unexplained voices. These voices, referred to as EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena), typically express intelligence since they often call out things that identifies people present at the investigation or something that pertains to the investigation. Also, communications coming across typically co-relates to the known facts about that haunted site, such as specifics about the spirits there. The P-SB7 is the most famous tool for instant spirit communications since it has been the favorite on numerous Paranormal TV-Shows. The P-SB7 works by scanning the FM band and AM band along with a unique high frequency synthetic noise, a.k.a. white noise, where spirit voices seemingly are able to form words. The P-SB brand’s FM band scans 320 FM frequencies, which is further than any other competing brand known on the market, from 76 MHz to 108 MHz.

K-II EMF meter

The K2 EMF meter, also known as the KII, is a sturdy, powerful, portable, easy to use, fast sampling Electromagnetic field (EMF) meter that covers frequencies from 50-20,000 Hz at an accuracy of 5% at 50-60 Hz. The K2 meter is used regularly in paranormal research because of it's reliability and consistency. This makes the K2 EMF meter a fantastic instrument for both ghost hunting and for finding potentially harmful high EMF levels in your home or work environment. The UV reactive label lights up under UV lighting and is a nice new feature but is not necessary to see the level of EMF detected. The colored led lights makes readings obvious to easily spot in day light or darkness.

Digital Voice Recorders

Digital Voice Recorders are used to capture EVPS, or electronic voice phenomena, are sounds found on electronic recordings that are interpreted as spirit voices that have been either unintentionally recorded or intentionally requested and recorded.

Laser Thermometer

  • Non-contact temperature gun thermometer is intended to provide accurate measurements for inanimate objects
  • Measures in Fahrenheit or Celsius (Range: +26 to +716 F / -32 to +380 C) | Accuracy +/- 2 degrees

Dowsing Rods

The Rem Pod utilizes a mini telescopic antenna to radiate an independent EM field around the device. It is believed that spirit energy can manipulate, distort, and influence such an EM field.

EDI Meter

The EDI acts as an ambient temperature sensor, electromagnetic fields sensor, and geophone all in one!

Can paranormal phenomena influence Static (TriboElectric) Fields? Many researchers think so. ParaScope identifies changes in static fields and alerts you with a bright, bold colorful display the instant it occurs. Shows up well on video, even in low light circumstances.
